Review:
Always is such a refreshing change of pace in that both men in this relationship are openly gay vs. the typical hiding in the closet trope. One has a family that accepts it, one doesn't. The story opens very near the place where it ends - in the present, but the story is revealed by way of Kane telling the story that started 40 years ago when he first met Avery. It's a love story - one so pure, so true, so fated that it will steal your heart and breath. Everyone, no matter their gender or sexual preferences, should know this kind of love.

As their story unfolds, you'll cheer for them, celebrate with them, and cry with them through all their highs and lows. Sparks fly every time they're near one another, so yeah . . . lots of sizzling love scenes. As I mentioned, I found it so refreshing and endearing that they took their relationship public right away - even into the political ring in spite of the fallout. This book is Avery and Kane's life journey together. It's a "rub your hand over your heart" love story. I managed to hold off the tears until near the end when I ugly cried. Have tissues ready. A Must Read!
