I'll use a first name from one author and the second name from another author. Once my neighbor was cranking out Jimi Hendrix, so I named two security guards Henrix and James. Sometimes its that easy.

Stephen Tremp
IWSG Co-host

Stephen Tremphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10387553613827257304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5294129803115819718.post-86537809277301279452015-05-07T08:48:40.122-04:002015-05-07T08:48:40.122-04:00Thanks for some good tips, Lidy. Personally I like looking at name meanings as it'll relate to my character's personality. And or role in the story. Sometimes I'd start off with the perfect name to only change it later down the road. A fellow Scrib member once said in the forums that you can name your character's by sound. So if your character is a harsh person, using a name that sounds harsh and menacing when you say it, is the way to go. And I know most authors already know their character's names and never deviate from it. I'd say you're on the right track and to just stalk those baby sites and list. And trust your gut instinctLidyhttp://iheartallstories.weebly.comnoreply@blogger.com
